The MidAmerica Contingency Planning Forum (MCPF) is a nonprofit (501(c)(6)) professional organization that  was formed in 1994 to serve as a forum to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of information regarding all aspects of contingency planning in both the private and public sectors.  This includes:

  • Business Continuity Planning
  • Disaster Recovery Planning
  • Operational Risk Management
  • Incident Management
  • Emergency Management

 

MCPF offers the novice, as well as the experienced planner, the opportunity to share and broaden their knowledge of contingency planning. 

The organization aids planning professionals in staying abreast of current industry trends in mitigation, planning and recovery.The Forum serves as an interface for private and public sector cooperation.
